Yoga Wellbeing Journey
Hi, I’m Holly from Yoga Wellbeing Journey. I’ll be your guide during the beginners yoga class.
I’d like to take a moment to give you a glimpse into my back story.
Most importantly, I’m a wife and mother of two fab girls, and I love making beautiful objects, like hats and ceramic pots.
I’ve had a lifelong passion for yoga, and recently spotted my moment to complete my second yoga training before turning 50.
My desire to start this small business adventure, YWJ, came around whilst completing an ILM 7 qualification in business coaching. This is when I realised a direct connection between business coaching and yoga.
My own health led me to delve deeper into yoga in a quest to manage chronic back pain. I experienced several bad back episodes during the early years of running my first business.
I experienced the success of consistent, steady hard work, when my hats were picked up by fashion editors of illustrious magazines such as Vogue. My designs were featured in fashion shots across the globe and on the runway in Milan. However, I found the rapid pace that the fashion industry revolves at to be exciting, yet unsustainable.
Having accepted this, I redirected my career into education. I steadily continued my yoga journey, positively impacting both my body and mind. This being the midpoint of my life, I’m focused on doing more of what I love, and more of what makes me feel good!
Hence, I’ve arrived here to help and guide you!
CLASS DESCRIPTION
Have you heard there’s a beginners class that helps you grow your basic knowledge and experience of yoga?
Perhaps you’ve always wanted to try yoga but haven’t plucked up the courage yet, or you tried it online and it just didn’t gel.
Why sign up? Yoga helps you relax, stretch and is great for your health and wellbeing. It’s a fantastic way to meet new people, in a safe environment, where we can have a giggle whilst being a little bit wobbly in some of the poses.
You don’t need to be super fit, flexible, young or skinny, more a lover of slow, quality movement.
What the course includes:
You can expect a mix of positions, forward bends, back bends, side bends, strengthening, twisting and stretching. Modifications will be given to accommodate everyone.
To find out more, or to make a booking email me at: [email protected]
Book all 4 weeks from 10 February - 3 March for a reduced price of £26.
Finally, if you're pregnant (huge congratulations) however this class wouldn’t be suitable for you right now. I’d recommend looking into a prenatal yoga class that's designed specifically with pregnancy in mind.
I hope to hear from you soon.
